Max Lami, as a young boy, spent all his childhood skating and his one wish in life was to become a professional skater. Max was putting all his effort into mastering his skills and practising day and night just to achieve his goal. That was until a horrible event happened in Max Lami’s life.
When Max Lami turned 17, he suffered a terrible injury rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, requiring complex, keyhole surgery and his dream soon became a distant memory. Max had to quickly adapt to his new life and find a different profession. His office job paid the bills, but for Max Lami, it wasn’t enough. He still had his passion for skating and decided to channel it through design.
Inspired by the grime scene and modern trends, Max began using his experience in graphic design to produce clothing that combined a modern aesthetic with an urban look and feel. It became an instant hit at local skate parks and has successfully prompted Max to start up his very first clothing line, launching Summer 2017, called Max Lami.
Even though Max Lami will never skate again, Max Lami brand has given him the purpose and hope he lost when he was 17. Max Lami products have been tried and tested by hundreds of skaters and have been chosen for comfort and ease while riding your board.
